# Utilities *All the utility we build around music artists, we first ask ourselves, does this increase the revenue a music artist can make? If yes, then we prioritize it. If it doesn't then we throw it in the trash bin of history. If we can't make independent music artists successful, then we won't have a successful platform.* > *We firmly believe that NiftyRecords can only be successful if we make our community and artists wealthy. We only do win, win, win utility. No comprises.* ## What is the Utility? ### **Music NFT Player** > A simple one-step interface to **listen to all your music NFTs instantly**. No need to go through marketplaces or complicated UIs. Listen to your Music NFT collection on the go and give it all the attention it deserves. ***Your Wallet, Your Collection, Your Music NFTs.*** ### **Artist Partnerships** > Help build additional sources of revenue for independent music artists. By building their very own NiftyRecord collections with the trait designs they envision. Artists maintain secondary sale royalties for life. ### Submit/Vote For the Featured NiftyArtist NFT Collection > Be a part of collaborative NFT collections between artists and fans. Artists get to submit 1 song that will get blind voted by the rest of the NiftyRecord holders. The songs (amount TBD) that receive the most votes will be created into a custom-curated NiftyRecord collection with the artist and song names. All secondary sale royalties will go to each of the corresponding music artists with the highest blind votes. ### Mint Your Music > We are going to add an additional revenue stream for independent music artists by allowing them to mint 1 of 1 and fractionalized music NFTs that our community and their fan base will be able to mint. These music NFTs will come with additional pieces of utility that give music artists an advantage. Stay tuned for updates. ### Pick & Play Your Favorite Songs With NiftyRecords > ​When your NiftyRecord is revealed 3 days after mint, you will be presented with the option to add any song you want on it via a Spotify API. When the record is staking and spinning on a record player it will **actually** play the song you chose as if it were a real record. ### Display Your Collection in the NiftyVerse > Get a public and shareable link where your friends, family, and community can see all your NiftyRecords on display. ### **Access to a Exclusive NFT Collections (Record Player NFT, etc)** > When you aquire a high rarity NiftyRecord (combined NiftyPoint total of 140+ via LootCrates or Marketplaces). You have the option to mint a completely new NFT from a different collection (record player NFT). *1 NiftyRecord (NiftyPoint score of 140 or more) + (Sum TBD) $NIFTY= NiftyPlayer NFT* > The $NIFTY spent will be burned & the amount to purchase will increase over time. After the transaction is complete, the NiftyRecord will randomly generate new traits from a set of completely new designs. The NiftyPlayer will average a higher overall NiftyPoint score in comparison to the NiftyRecord collection. ### **2% of Secondary Sales Goes to Charities** > We will be donating to One Tree Planted (for every $1, 1 tree gets planted). In the future, NiftyRecord holders will be able to voice and vote for which charities NiftyRecords donates to. ## ***What's Next?***** | Future Utility** {% hint style="warning" %} Despite us wanting to absolutely, *without a doubt*, do all of these utilities below. We don't want to be like every NFT project who promises the world without doing all their homework. As soon as we have the bandwidth to run with new features, we will be focusing our efforts on the next generation of NiftyRecords utility. We want to bring all of you into our project and collective, even if it's still in the ideation phase. NiftyRecord holders get lifetime access to all shows as long as they have a NiftyRecord in their wallet. ### **Music NFT MarketPlace** > A Music Marketplace where you can buy and sell your music NFTs that you have purchased from any other platform. It won't be limited to music NFTs minted on NiftyRecords but to any music-based NFT minted on any platform. We want to make buying and selling music NFTs as easy and accessible as possible. ### **IRL NiftyRecords** > This utility is here by popular demand. How sick would it be to have real-life NiftyRecords in a glass frame that you could hang up on your wall? How much cooler would that be if it was an easy 1-click purchase with $NIFTY that was generated from your NiftyRecord. This is all possible! We have already been scoping out vendors that could do this for us at scale. ### **Limited Merch Drops** > Exclusive, high-quality, limited drip '*clothing*' for NiftyRecord holders with 1-click checkout using $NIFTY. We'll compare different vendor samples to provide the absolute best apparel quality to our holders. We will do multiple limited collection drops, each with new designs.
